ITINERARIES MAMO TOUR NO.01 - 10 DAYS 9 NIGHTSTARANGIRE, LAKE MANYARA, SERENGETI NATIONAL PARKS, NGORONGORO CRATER, LAKE EYASI AND OLDUVAI GORGE Day 1: After arrival Day 2: After breakfast and pre-departure meeting at the lodge, leave Tarangire National Park for the fourth Tanzania largest park. Here you will find a geologic landscape, you will see a variety of wildlife, including elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and others, overnight at Twiga Hotel (Mto wa Mbu). DAY 3: After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This small park includes the Western wall of the Great Rift Valley and lies 3,150 feet ALT. This park is noted Elephant population and tree-climbing Lions, Flamingoes and Hippos inhabit the lake shore which is surrounded by group-water, dinner and overnight at Twiga Hotel – Mto wa Mbu. DAY 4: After breakfast leave the hotel and proceed to Lake Eyasi, a remote area that is a home to the Hadza people. The Hadza still follow their traditional way as hunters and gatherers, dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Classic Camp. DAY 5: After breakfast before departure, you will have a privilege to observe and interact with a tribe whose way of life has remained intact, then proceed to Serengeti National Park, you will pass the Crater view point and on the way game viewing to Serengeti, dinner and overnight at Migration Camp (all meals included). DAY 6: Early in the morning have a game drive before sun rise, here you can see a group of Lion, Zebra, Buffalo, Hyena. Drive back to the camp around 10.00a.m for your breakfast. Then proceed with your game drive on the other side of the park, Grumet River provides a sharp contrast to the surrounding plains and hosts some of the Serengeti more unusual species, such as theBlack and While Colobus monkey, dinner and overnight at Migration Camp (all meals included). DAY 7: After breakfast drive back to Ngorongoro Crater on the way game viewing via Oldvuai Gorge, where some of the earliest remains of our species were unearthed by the dedicated Leakey family, here in these desolate gullies the jawbone of Zinjathropus man was discovered. Dinner and overnight will be at Simba Campsite (all meals included). DAY 8: After breakfast drive down to the Crater for a half day game tour. This 102 square mile crater is the world larges unfloode, unbroken Caldrea. The African best game viewing area, descend in with a 4wheel drive, there are a thousands of Wildebeest, still many Black Rhino, Cheetah, Gazelle, Giraffe and perhaps,the highest density of Lions of any place in Africa, then drive to Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight (all meals included). DAY 9: Have a full day visit at the Maasai bomas, here you can see how the Masai live and they are going to dance their traditional dance and you can see the very Old Masai Man with more than 8 wives aged ranged from 18-25. Maasai life briefing where this tribe came from because they are not like Bantu tribes in Tanzania, dinner and overnight at Classic Camp (all meals included). DAY 10: The remaining of the day is free to shop in Sourvenior shops, markets, relax or explore Arusha town on your own. In the evening we’ll have a farewell dinner before depart to the airport for your departure flight back home. MAMO TOUR NO.02CAMPING SAFARIS – 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTSTARANGIRE, SERENGETI, LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK AND NGORONGORO CRATER DAY 1: Leave Moshi at 0830am then proceed to Tarangire National Park with your lunch boxes for a game viewing in the park up to 5.30p.m. dinner and overnight will be at Kigongoni Campsite,. DAY 2: After breakfast, start your game drive at 0800a.m. until 1.00p.m. when you’ll have your lunch and have a short rest, then proceed to Figi Camp for dinner and overnight. DAY 3: After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park on the way enroute you do your game drive with your lunch boxes up to 5.30p.m. (sunset), then drive to Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight. DAY 4: Early in the morning you get a cup of Coffee/Tea, then proceed for your early game drive then come back to the Camp at 10.00a.m. for your breakfast, then have a rest for 2 hours. Have your lunch then proceed with your game drive until sunset, then came back for dinner and overnight. DAY 5: After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch boxes, have a game drive around the Crater rim until 5.30p.m. then drive back for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Resort. DAY 6: After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park with your lunch boxes for a game drive up to 5.30p.m. then drive back for dinner and overnight at Twiga Campsite. DAY 7: After breakfast, drive back to Moshi, while enroute you pass Maasai Village/Snake Park and Makonde Carvings, finally at your Hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight. MAMO TOUR NO.03 CAMPING SAFARI - 5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS LAKE MANYARA, TARANGIRE, SERENGETI NATIONAL PARKS AND NGORONGORO CRATER DAY 1: After breakfast in the morning proceed to Lake Manyara National Park with your lunch boxes. Have an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Figi Lodge. DAY 2: After breakfast, have a game drive at Lake Manyara, have your lunch at the picnic site, then drive to Tarangire National Park for dinner and overnight. DAY 3: After breakfast with your lunch boxes, proceed with your game drive until noon, then proceed to Serengeti National Park while game viewing enroute, dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite. DAY 4: Early in the morning have a game drive up to 11.00a.m. drive back to camp for your breakfast. Then proceed to Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch boxes, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Camp. DAY 5: After breakfast proceed down to the Crater rim with your lunch boxes, have a game drive till afternoon, then drive back to Moshi for dinner and overnight. MAMO TOUR NO.04
2 DAY 1 NIGHT – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
DAY 1: Depart Moshi at 0830 for Lake Manyara with your lunch boxes. Have a game drive till sunset, dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.
DAY 2: After breakfast in the morning, proceed with your game drive, after lunch drive back to Moshi via Arusha.
MAMO TOUR NO.05 ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY TOURAt 0900a.m. depart Moshi for Ngurdtoro Crater, have a game view, then drive and view Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru with your lunch boxes, then proceed with the tour of Momella Lake, afterwards return to Moshi by 1700p.m.
MAMO TOUR NO:06 FULL DAY TOUR – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK At 0900a.m. depart for Lake Manyara National Park, have a game view with your lunch boxes, then drive back to Moshi for dinner and overnight.
MAMO TOUR NO:07 FULL DAY – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK Around 0900a.m. depart Moshi for Tarangire, have a game view with your lunch boxes, then return to Moshi for dinner and overnight.
MAMO TOUR NO:08FULL DAY TOUR – MARANGU At 0900a.m. depart Arusha for Marangu then view Marangu falls. Then drive to Kilimanjaro National park gate from where the climbers begin their mountain climb. Afterwards visit the rain forest, lunch will be at Kibo Hotel, then drive back to Moshi for dinner and overnight.
MAMO TOUR NO:09 LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK 2 DAYS DAY 1: Depart Moshi at 0800a.m. for Lake Manyara with your lunch boxes, proceed with your game drive, dinner and overnight will be at Lake Manyara Hotel.
DAY 2: After breakfast in the morning have a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park with your lunch boxes, then drive back to Moshi by evening. MAMO TOUR NO.010 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT – LAKE MANYARA AND NGORONGORO CRATER
DAY 1: Depart Moshi for Lake Manyara around 0800a.m. Have a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, then proceed to Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch boxes, dinner and overnight at Wildlife Lodge.
DAY 2: After breakfast proceed with your game drive around the crater rim, after lunch drive back to Moshi via Arusha.

MAMO TOUR NO:019 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS – L/MANYARA, NGORONGORO AND SERENGETI This is a very popular tour with one night spent in Manyara, 2 in Serengeti and 2 in Ngorongoro. DAY 1: Depart for Lake Manyara Hotel which is built on the rift wall at a high altitude, thus offering a magnificent view of the lake and the park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel. DAY 2: Game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on the Lake Manyara. After lunch depart for Seronera, dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Wildlife Lodge. DAY 3: After breakfast have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park with your lunch boxes, here you can find the largest concentration of plain animals – 4million and 500 species of birds. Your chance to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife Lodge. DAY 4: After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5. million years ago have been discovered. Lunch at the Lodge, afternoon leisure, dinner and overnight at Crater or Wildlife Lodge situated on the rim of the crater. DAY 5: After breakfast, have a full day tour of Ngorongoro crater, here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of birdlife. Ascend to the lodge from the 2000ft deep crater, lunch boxes on the way, dinner and overnight at the Lodge. DAY 6: After breakfast, depart for Arusha/Moshi with a stop at Mto wa Mbu market. MAMO TOUR NO.020 DAR ES SALAAM, CITY TOUR (HALF DAY): Raised from the humble surroundings of a fishing village just over a century ago, Dar-es-salaam blossomed into one of the most beautiful seaside capitals. It is African in character and an ideal center for holidaying. Many beautiful and unspoiled beaches are within easy reach of Dar-es-salaam. While in Dar-es-Salaam one can start a day by exploring the city through a sight-seeing tour. Places to be visited are the Dar-es-Salaam University, National Museum, Village Museum, Kariakoo Market, Makonde Carvers at work, Msasani Village, Nyumba ya Sanaa (House of Crafts), Mnazi Mmoja Park etc. Drive through the central part of Dar-es-salaam and pass long the whole sea front including Oysterbay and the Harbour. MAMO TOUR NO.021 BAGAMOYO TOUR: Departure at 0900a.m. and return by 1800p.m. This is a one day tour of Bagamoyo which lies 75kms north of Dar-es-Salaam. Bagamoyo was the starting point of the slave caravan routes and also the terminus of the White Missionaries. While in Bagamoyo, visit the Kaole ruins and the first Roman Catholic Church in Tanganyika built by the Germans in 1880’s. There is also a splendid beach where one can swim and enjoy a picnic lunch. DAY 2: After breakfast, morning city tour including view of Beit-al-Ajaib (the house of wonders) at the sea-front. After lunch, transfer to the Airport for your return flight to Dar-es-Salaam. MAMO TOUR NO.026 ZANZIBAR 3 DAYS DAY 1: Depart Dar-es-Salaam by air. Transfer from Zanzibar Airport to your Hotel. DAY 2: After breakfast, have a full day tour of Mangapwani, a sea side area with caves and a slave chamber where, during the Slave trade era, slaves were kept for exporting. Visit the Mtoni place and Maruhubi ruins before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 3: After breakfast, morning city tour including viewing of Beit-al-Ajaib (the house of wonders) at the sea-front. After lunch, transfer to the Airport for your return flight to Dar-es-Salaam. MAMO TOUR NO.027ZANZIBAR 4 DAYS DAY 1: Similar to Mamo Tour No.07, but an additional day in Zanzibar is provided for relaxing, swimming, exploring the Old Town or an optional tour to the Small Islands of Changu and Prison Island. Zanzibar tour include transfers in Dar-es-Salaam and Zanzibar. MAMO TOUR NO:028 7 DAYS 6NIGHTS - ZANZIBAR BEACH TOUR DAY 1: Leave Moshi by Royal Bus at 9.00a.m. arrive DSM at around 1800 hours then transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 2: After breakfast around 9.00a.m. proceed to DSM Harbour to board a Sea Express boat to Zanzibar, arrive there around 1200noon, then transferred to your hotel for lunch and a short rest, thereafter explore the town then come back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 3: After breakfast in the morning proceed to the Old Stone town enroute to David Livingstone house, then drive to the recins of Sultan Barghash Palace at Maruhubi. Afterwards proceed to Kidichi and Kizimbani Persian Bath. Then proceed to Spice vegetations. In the afternoon visit the local villages, birds site at Kidichi then proceed to Fuji Snack Bar and Restaurant for lunch after which you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: After breakfast leave Old Stone town at 9.00a.m. proceed to Spice vegetations, visit local villages at Kidichi and Kizimbani then to Persian Bath, birds site at Kidichi, lunch at Fiji Snack Bar and Restaurant. After lunch you proceed to Mangapwani Beach, pay a visit to Vanilla plantation, Slave Chamber and Coral Cave at Mangapwani. From here you drive to Old Stone Town while enroute you make a stop-over at Maruhubi Sultani Palace. From here you go direct to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (This tour takes almost 8 hours).
DAY 5: After breakfast SEA EXCURSION FULL DAY starting from 9.00a.m. Board a boat to Changu Islet. On arrival go to Changu Restaurant for lunch, after you go for swimming at coral reef, same afternoon you do site seeing at Changu Islet you’ll see Giant Tortoise. Thereafter sunbathing and water sports is done here. After that sail back to Old Stone Town to your hotel for dinner and overnight (This is a full day tour).
DAY 6: After breakfast drive to South Coast (A) Kizimkazi Beach and Hotel for land half hour to Bikhole ruins at Bungi while enroute you make a stop-over at Jozani Forest to watch the rare Colobus monkeys thento Kizimkazi Beach Hotel for lunch and leisure at the beach. Thereafter drive back to Old Stone Town to your hotel for dinner and overnight (This is a full day tour).
DAY 7: After breakfast you go for shopping around the town and around 10.00a.m. you board a boat back to DSM ready for your next destination.
MAMO TOUR NO:029 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS – ZANZIBAR BEACH TOUR Arrival from Marangu/Machame gates after mountain trekking rest at your hotel, dinner and overnight. DAY 1: After breakfast clients choice mode of travel by air (Pression Air/Air Tanzania) or by Scandinavian Bus (luxury bus) to DSM, thereafter board a Sea Express boat to Zanzibar to your hotel, dinner and overnight. DAY 2: After breakfast around 9.00a.m. proceed to Old Stone Town while enroute to Dr. Livingstone house, then drive to ruins of Sultan Barghash Palace at Maruhubi afterwards proceed to Kidichi and Kizimkazi Persian Bath then proceed to Spice vegetations to see nutmig, cloves and adamnon. In the afternoon after lunch at Fuji Snack Bar and Hotel to visit local villages, birds site at Kidichi and other nearby tourism attractions, thereafter go back to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 3: After breakfast then have a short time of shopping and city tour up to the afternoon, then board a boat or by air to DSM to your hotel or city tour awaiting your next destination. Late afternoon, have a game drive, dinner and overnight at the Lodge. DAY 2: After breakfast, game view drive in the morning, after lunch, depart for Dar-es-Salaam where you arrive by evening. MAMO TOUR NO.031 MIKUMI – 3 DAYS DAY 1: Depart for Mikumi in the morning. After lunch, leisure in the afternoon at the Mikumi Wildlife Lodge, where you can see animals and some bird species coming very close to the Lodge, dinner and overnight at the Lodge. DAY 2: After breakfast, have a full day game drive with your picnic lunch. DAY 3: Game view drive in the morning. After lunch, depart for Dar-es-Salaam where you arrive by evening. MAMO TOUR NO.032 RUAHA – 6 DAYS DAY 1: Depart Dar-es-Salaam for Iringa, dinner and overnight in Iringa. DAY 2: After breakfast, drive to Ruaha. Afternoon game drive in Ruaha National Park, dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Camp. DAY 3: After breakfast, full day game drive of Ruaha National Park with picnic lunch. DAY 4: After breakfast, short game drive before departing for Iringa. After lunch depart for Mikumi for dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge. DAY 5 After breakfast, short game drive before departing for Iringa. After lunch depart for Mikumi, dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge. DAY 6: After breakfast, game drive in Mikumi National Park. After lunch, depart for Dar-es-Salaam where you arrive by evening. MAMO TOUR NO.033 SELOUS – 4 DAYS DAY 1: Depart by Chartered air to Selous. Transfer to the Rufiji River Camp for lunch, afternoon boat safari, return to the camp for dinner and overnight. DAY 2: After breakfast, have a full day game drive with picnic lunch. DAY 3: After breakfast, boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River from where Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants and birdlife can be seen. Return to the camp for lunch, in the afternoon foot safari, dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 4After breakfast, morning game drive. After lunch, drive to the airstrip for a return flight to Dar-es-Salaam, then transfer to your hotel. NB: Safari to Selous is also available by road – see Tour No.013, 014, 015. MAMO TOUR NO.034 SELOUS – 5 DAYS: DAY 1: Depart Dar-es-Salaam in the morning by charter air. Transfer from airstrip to Rufiji River Camp. Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 2: After breakfast, full day game drive of Selous. DAY 3: After breakfast, walking safari, after lunch boat safari then return to the Camp for dinner and overnight. DAY 4: After breakfast have another full day game drive, dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 5: After breakfast, walking safari, after lunch, transfer to airstrip for charter air flight to Dar-es-Salaam. MAMO TOUR NO.035 SELOUS – 8 DAYS: DAY 1: Transfer from DSM Airport to Kilimanjaro Hotel for lunch, dinner and overnight. DAY 2: After breakfast, depart Dar-es-Salaam by charter air to Selous Game Reserve. Transfer from airstrip to Rufiji River Camp which is located on the river just inside the Reserve on the eastern approach, overlooking the Rufiji River. This is the oldest of the Selous Camps and was originally a hunting Camp. Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River, dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp. DAY 3: After breakfast full day game view drive, dinner and overnight at the camp. DAY 4: After breakfast, walking safari – this safari allows an intimate impression of the African bush and wildlife, which is unforgettable. Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Those who experience this safari can verify the fact that this mighty river boasts Africa’s highest concentration of Hippopotamus, dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 5: After breakfast, drive to Mbuyu Camp, situated on the north-eastern part of Selous, on the banks of the River. Afternoon boat safari, dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 6: After breakfast, full day game view drive, dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 7: After breakfast, walking safari then transferred to airstrip for charter air flight to Dar-es-Salaam, dinner and overnight at Kilimanjaro Hotel. DAY 8: Transfer to DSM International Airport for your flight. MAMO TOUR NO.036 SELOUS/RUAHA/MIKUMI – 9 DAYS: DAY 1: Depart by Land-Rover to Selous Game Reserve. Arrive in the afternoon at Rufiji River Camp which is located on the river just inside the Reserve on the eastern approach overlooking the Rufiji River. This is the oldest of the Selous Camps and was originally a hunting Camp. In the afternoon have a boat safari. DAY 2: Full day game view drive by Land-Rover. Selous is Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary; here you find some of the finest virgins bush in Africa. The animals are still wild, reacting strongly to the sight of humans, unlike their tourist-accustomed counterparts in Tanzania’s northern parks. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp. DAY 3: After breakfast boat ride along the mighty Rufiji River, those who experience this safari can verify the fact that this mighty river boasts African’s highest concentration of Hippopotamus. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge. DAY 6: Breakfast at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge. Afterwards depart for Ruaha with a stop in Iringa for lunch. Late in the afternoon game drive in Ruaha National Park, dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Camp. DAY 7: Full day game drive in Ruaha National Park, Ruaha is one of the unexplored Parks in Tanzania with the largest elephant sanctuary. The name Ruaha derives from the Great Ruaha River which flows along it’s entire eastern border creating spectacular gorges and scenery. DAY 8: After breakfast, a short game drive in Ruaha National park. Depart for Mikumi via Iringa for lunch, dinner and overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge. DAY 9: After breakfast, have a game drive in Mikumi National Park, which is rich in wildlife and contains Buffalo, Elephant, Lion and Leopard. You can also found Wildbeest, Zebra, Impala, Warthog, Hippo and Giraffe. Then depart for Dar-es-Salaam after lunch, where you arrive by evening. MAMO TOUR NO:037 MT. KILIMANJARO CLIMB - 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS DAY 1: Transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to your hotel in Moshi (New Castle Hotel or any specified Hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 2: After breakfast in the morning transferred to Marangu gate/Machame gate to start climbing through fascinating rain forests up to the first hut MANDARA at 9000ft (2725m), after a climb of 3-4 hours. Meals and overnight at the hut. DAY 3: After breakfast, follow the ascending path through the alpine meadow. The altitude begins to change and slows down your pace while enjoying the flora and the view of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at the HOROMBO HUT 12km from MANDARA HUT at 12335ft (3780m) after about 5 hours walk, meals and overnight at the hut. DAY 4: After breakfast, resume the climb, the landscape becomes rugged and rocky and groundsels and lobelias appear. Climb to KIBO HUT at 15520ft (4730m) in about 5-6 hours walk, meals and overnight at the hut. DAY 5: The beginning of the last ascent is made at about 3.00a.m. in the morning while the scree is still frozen. Climb the very steep part o the route to GILMAN'S POINT at 18635ft (5680m) arriving in about 5 hours. Uhuru Peak is reached within an hour's walk along the crater's rim at 19344ft (5895m). Start the descent to HOROMBO HUT for overnight. DAY 6: Return to Kibo Hotel (or any other alternative hotel) for your lunch, dinner and overnight. DAY 7: Depart for Moshi then transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. MAMO TOUR NO:038 MT. MERU CLIMBING - 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS DAY 1: Drive to Momella gate to Miriakamba Hut, start walking through the forest toward the Crater floor and then steeply up to Miriakamba Hut with a possible diversion onto crater floor, comes in from left to reach Miriakamba hut, 2514m, after ascending 1000m of 10km in 5-6 hours of walking. DAY 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut: Start by following the uphill slightly until you come out into a path which climbs steeply up through pleasant glades between trees. Continue up the path through grassy clearing and over several stream beds to Saddle Hut 3570m 4 km of walking ascending 1050m in 2-4 hours. You may take other 2 hours of walking to and return to little Meru for acclimatization during noon hours. DAY 3: Saddle Hut - Meru Summit - Saddle Hut: Leave Saddle Hut early in the morning about 2-3a.m. The walk up to the summit is long and a very narrow ridge between the slope outer wall of the crater and the Sheer Cliff of inner wall is one of the most dramatic and exhilarating sections of trekking to reach the socialist point 4565m took 4-5 hours in 1000m. 5km of walking plus descending of 2-3 hours to Saddle Hut. DAY 4: Saddle Hut - Momella gate: Start walking by retrace a route to Miriakamba and take the direct route goes through forest for some of the way taken through open grassland in 9km 2000mts of descend in 3-5 hours to Momella gate, then transferred to Moshi to your Hotel for lunch, dinner and overnight.
